Matdot Art Center invites you to step into a dimension of chaos. Within this battlefield of life, only the charred remnants of bodies remain—a symbol of the relentless struggle for survival.

Chiang Mai-based Thai artist Nung Kittisak Fansai presents his third solo exhibition, “Life War,” exploring the instinctual fight for existence. Through delicate ceramic sculptures, he captures the fleeting nature of life—human, animal, and plant—at various stages, from birth and growth to inevitable decay.

The fragility of fired clay mirrors the uncertainty of existence, while the unintentional burn marks left by the flames symbolize the inner desires and struggles that shape us. The result? A haunting yet mesmerizing installation that blurs the line between beauty and destruction.
