This year, let's inspire children to fall in love with nature through a Nature Walk in the heart of Bangkok at Benjakitti Forest Park. Once a tobacco factory, this lush green space has been transformed into a new hub for birdwatching and insect spotting, surrounded by Bangkok’s towering skyline. From January 3-5, 2025, the Sarakadee Lite team joined a guided tour with BIG Trees and an arborist leading the way, uncovering birds, insects, butterflies, and plant species that make up the vibrant ecosystem of this urban forest.

Families interested in the Nature Walk can explore various trails featuring local plants by freshwater ponds, tropical lowland forests, dry evergreen forests, mangroves, and rare Thai flora, particularly native flowering plants. For birdwatching, early mornings or late afternoons are the best times to spot different species, including the highlight—spotted owlets nesting in tree hollows.

From January 11-19, 2025, Benjakitti Park will also host the WOW Festival 2025: Wonder Of Well-Living City. The event features a Free Play zone for children to engage in unstructured outdoor play amid nature and learning sessions led by professional arborists to nurture a love for trees and the environment. 🌿
