Deep in My Mind 2
Concept
"From the moment we are born, our lives are shaped by countless experiences. Some leave an indelible mark on our minds, making them impossible to forget, while others remain as unspoken emotions deep within us, beyond the reach of words."
Jatusadom Sae-Sim (Boy), a talented artist from the White Canvas Thailand Painting Competition, graduated from the Faculty of Art and Design at King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang in 2022. Over the years, he has honed his skills and developed a distinct artistic style, blending realism and surrealism to freely express the visions of his subconscious mind.
In the "Deep in My Mind" exhibition, Jatusadom embraces an intuitive creative process, allowing his hand to move instinctively, as if guided by an unspoken subconscious force. His works emerge naturally, free from premeditated sketches or predetermined color schemes. The brushstrokes dance across the canvas, capturing the raw essence of emotion without rigid narratives or thematic constraints.
Rather than dictating a specific message, the artist invites viewers to engage with his paintings in a deeply personal way, unrestricted by predefined interpretations. Many pieces are created spontaneously, with colors and forms taking shape in real time, reflecting the pure and unfiltered emotions embedded in his psyche.
