Renowned artist and former professor at Chulalongkorn University’s Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts and Silpakorn University’s Faculty of Painting, Sculpture, and Graphic Arts, Somwong Thappharat presents his latest solo exhibition, "Seeking Emptiness."

His work is distinguished by its light, airy atmosphere, often depicting serene landscapes. Initially known for his watercolor paintings, he later expanded to oil painting and drawing while maintaining the same essence—the beauty of nature, a sense of peace, and the presence of natural Dharma. His delicate, tranquil compositions invite viewers into a soft, warm, and meditative space.
