O.R.G.Y (Our Revolution for Greater Youth) is a project established in 2017 by Adisak Jirasakkasem and Supakorn Buaruan, founders of IWANNABANGKOKO. Initially conceived as an annual Youth Expo, the project has evolved into a significant platform for emerging artists to showcase their diverse talents. Curated by IWANNABANGKOKO, O.R.G.Y brings together a range of young creatives, from DJs and tattoo artists to painters and designers, offering them a professional stage to present their work.
In 2019, IWANNABANGKOKO partnered with Mook Attakanwong, founder of ATT19, to launch an exhibition featuring 17 emerging artists, including now prominent names such as Kenz, Harit Srikhao, and Lili Tae. O.R.G.Y. 2024 marks the second collaborative exhibition between IWANNABANGKOKO and ATT19 following the COVID-19 pandemic, continuing their commitment to fostering the careers of young creatives.
O.R.G.Y is designed to support emerging talent through a structured open-call application and interview process. Selected artists receive mentorship, guidance, and professional development from both the gallery and the brand. This support includes access to ATT19's installation team and curators-Mook Attakanwong and Teerapoj Teeropas (founder of Kitt.Ta.Khon) who together with Adisak and Supakorn provide critical insights into the art and design industries. Through their mentorship, artists gain valuable experience in the technical and curatorial aspects of preparing for a gallery exhibition, from exhibition design to gallery operations.
In addition to the exhibition, O.R.G.Y 2024 features a unique collaboration between IWANNABANGKOK© and the 12 participating artists in the creation of an exclusive merchandise collection, seamlessly merging art and fashion.
