“In The Weird Wide World” is an exhibition that presents environmental issues through a contemporary art perspective, exploring the existence of microplastics in the environment, highlighting their impact on the world, nature and living things. Microplastics infiltrate the air, water and food chain, making them part of the daily existence of humans and animals, which is an important variable in the evolution of this era, as living things have had to adapt in order to survive.

The exhibition features over 100 mixed media works, including soft sculptures and mono prints, each with a unique theme and concept. Masterpieces include “The Hourglass of Death,” made from recycled silk, ashes from a local barbecue joint, and discarded plastic straws, evoking the passage of time and environmental degradation.
