Dialogue with the Father

"Dialogue with the Father" is an extension of the solo documentary performance 'Just Away' by Vasu Woralyangkun, the middle son of artist Wat Woralyangkun. Influential in Thai art and politics, this work explores the life and work of Wat Waralyangkun through the perspectives of his three heirs: Wana, Vasu, and Wajana Waralyangkun. Inheriting the intellectual legacy and memory of the father, as well as the unavoidable historical and political context of Thailand, the performance will use texts, writings, still images, motion pictures, paintings, songs, poems, and various material evidence and evidence of the Memories that are like records of personal and social history of Thailand by Wat Wana Wasu and Wachana Woralyangkun
